Events Manager
The Events Manager is in charge of implementing committee events such as Leadership Day, Summer Bazaar Kick-off, TEAM member appreciation at the Bazaar, the Committee Appreciation Luncheon, and the Red Carpet Event.
Professional Interaction: The Events Manager(s) reports to the Food/Hospitality Director(s) before, during, and after Bazaar operations. Must also work with 86 FSS to develop and manage the invitation list for Red Carpet night and to ensure that, given the large number of highly ranked DVs, all appropriate protocol requirements are met.
Technical Proficiency: Must possess strong communication and organizational skills as well as computer skills, including Google Suite. Applicants must possess strong organizational skills, be a self-starters, and be able to manage a budget.
Work Environment: The Events Manager(s) will work with the ROSC events team to plan and execute the August ROSC Social and will be responsible for logistics requirements for all Committee Meetings (one each in March, May, June, & July and two in August).The Events Manager(s) will be responsible for the Red Carpet event.
On-Site Support: During the Bazaar, the Events Manager(s) will be on site to serve as a liaison with the Protocol Office for any DV visits and to provide committee support daily.
