Food Vendor Coordinator(s)
The Food Vendor Coordinator(s) [this could potentially be a joint 2-person POSITION if desired/approved by Food and Hospitality Chair] work with POCs from the Booster Clubs that set up and maintain food tents during Bazaar operations. The Food Vendor Coordinators will oversee and execute the food vendor selection process. They oversee the selection process, Food, Fire and Safety Briefing, maintaining contracts and documents, and coordinating with Base Private Orgs and 86 FSS. The Food Vendor Coordinators facilitate the payment of food vendor fees and deposits to the Finance Director. During the Bazaar, the Food Vendor Coordinators are responsible for food vendor compliance with Bazaar Guidelines, Public Health, Fire/Safety, and contractual obligations. The Food Vendor Coordinator (or assistant) should be on-site at the Bazaar from 1 hour prior to opening until the close of the bazaar.
Ideal candidates will have some public speaking experience and will be able to resolve conflict. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must. This position will work directly with active duty personnel.
The Food Vendor Coordinators report directly to the Food and Hospitality Director before, during, and after Bazaar operations.
